April showers (though hopefully not too many) bring several significant shows:

First, this Friday April 8th please join me with the Beau Roland Band as one of seven exciting acts in a Singer/Songwriter Showcase to benefit the need-based scholarship fund at The New School of Music, a community music school for kids and adults in Cambridge. The show is at The Lizard Lounge, 1667 Mass. Ave,Cambridge, and will also include performers Sandi Hammond (CD Release), Patrice Williamson, Rick Berlin, Woodpile Jr, Ad Frank, and Dirty Ticket (former Pills); hosted by the fabulous Lexi Kahn. Show starts at 9pm, and tickets at the door are $10.

Next, on Wednesday April 13th catch me with The Gobshites as we open for Irish rockers Gaelic Storm at Harpers Ferry, 156 Brighton Ave, Allston. Tickets are $15, available in advance through the Harpers Ferry ticket page.

Next, a couple of pub shows:

• Friday April 15th: Cambridge MA - The Gobshites play at The Overdraught Pub, 877 Cambridge St., 617-868-3221. 21+, 9pm

• Friday April 22nd: Salem MA - The Gobshites play at Dodge Street Bar & Grill, 7 Dodge St., 978-745-0239.

Then, on Saturday April 23rd catch the fan bus to The Gobshites' New Your City debut! We'll be opening for Black 47 at Connolly's Pub, 121 West 45th (between 6th & Broadway, Times Sq. area), 212-597-5126. We are chartering a bus that leaves Foxboro MA @ 9am that morning - catch a nap then shop/museum/etc. until the show that night, and snooze while being delivered back to Foxboro Sunday morning! $60 includes round-trip bus AND admission to the show - contact me or Pete Walsh to reserve a seat (cash in advance only).

And finally, if you can't make the NYC show, catch The Gobshites and Black 47 again on Friday April 29th at The Call, 15 Elbow St. in Providence RI, 401.751.2255 8pm $15 (available in advance via TicketMaster)
