Greetings Friends and Fans!

It's March, I'm in an Irish (punk) band, and it seems like I will be visiting every Irish (or wanna-be) venue in Mass. and RI in the next couple of weeks with The Gobshites. So rather than give you a strictly by-date listing of shows, I've divided them by general location so you can see which may be near to you:

Boston area:

• Friday March 4th: Boston MA - The Gobshites play the first night of the Harpoon Brewery St. Pat's Festival! We're currently scheduled in the 8:30-9:15pm slot. 21+, Tickets $12 at the door only (limited capacity!) - more info 617-574-9551 ext 3
• Sunday March 13th: Boston MA - The Gobshites do a live acoustic set on Boston radio station WAAF 107.3 FM during the Bay State Rock show. We'll be playing some songs at 11:30pm, followed by an interview.
• St. Patrick's Day, Thursday March 17th, 2005: TWO SHOWS! -
  • Somerville MA - I'm doing a solo Irish fiddle set (with some surprise guests) at The Abbey Lounge, 3 Beacon St. 617-441-9631. 21+ no cover (but buy a drink - I get paid a percent of the bar!) 7:00-9:00pm
  • Cambridge MA - The Gobshites with Three Day Threshold, Lenny & the Piss Poor Boys, The Pug Uglies at The Middle East Upstairs. 18+, cover $9. Our set is approx. 10:30pm

Rhode Island:

• Friday March 11th postponed due to headliner's illness - rescheduled for April 29th: Providence RI - The Gobshites open for Black 47 at The Call, 15 Elbow St. 401.751.2255 8pm
• Saturday March 19th: Providence RI - The Gobshites play at The Green Room, 145 Clifford Street 410 351 7665.

South Shore MA:

• Saturday March 12th: Plainville MA - The Gobshites play all night at The Chieftain Pub, Route 1, (508)643-9031.
• Friday March 18th rescheduled to March 26: Plymouth MA - The Gobshites play at Sean O'Toole's Pub, 22 Main St. 508-746-3388 9pm 21+

Western MA:

Thursday March 10th: South Hadley MA - The Gobshites play at Mount Holyoke College for their Thursday Night Edge series. Free for Mt Holyoke community, $3 w/ Five Colleges ID, $5 general public. Blanchard Campus Center, 8pm.

Also, the new Gobshites full-length CD When the Shite Hits the Fans is now available at all shows. If you'd like a copy but can't make it to a show, you can send me a check (or PayPal -ask for my PP name) for $10 and I'll drop one in the mail to you.
